Im really excited because although, as usual, the weather looks like it will be dreadful I'll be trackside with my camera.
Lets hope we dont see another incident like that of Hunter Abbots last year. I want to know if Jay Bridger will still be competing in the F3's and Im so looking forward to seeing the Ford again, I think the last time we saw that was at snetterton when it wiped the floor with the competition.

Hi there,
Don't think the Ford GT will be out at Oulton Park. It was at the media day, but only to be evaluated by potential drivers.
Its not on the entry list at the minute, theres no Lambo's either !
Regards
Tim
Which cars are on the entry list? Any Porsches this year?Don't think the Ford GT will be out at Oulton Park. It was at the media day, but only to be evaluated by potential drivers.

Well it was bright all day and there was some close running in the GTs despite the small field (18 in the end due to the addition of a couple more Ginetta G50s) - although the Mosler thumped them all, with the Ascari coming a not too distant second.
The Viper was doing well to hold of an F430 until the last lap when it seemed to have run out of fuel (don't know the exact problem though TBH).
I was at Druids today when the #50 Beechdean N24 Aston launched itself over the first kerb at Druids and planted itself into the tyrewall on the exit of the same corner.
Despite the heavy impact, the car made it to the race later in the afternoon.
One of the F430s didn't make it past qualifying though and it sounded like either the engine or gearbox was full of expensive tinkly bits
There was a good battle between 3 or 4 of the G50s too.

really wish you could view on the insides of Druids somedays.
I believe you can, I'm fairly sure I read on the Oulton Park website recently stating that loads of work had been done down that way and it was now open to the public. I was planning on checking it out today but never quite got around to it but will definitly check it out on Monday. I'll post some pics soon, I've got some lovely fire breathing Aston shots.
Awesome capture there VB. Good job.
