Oh I enjoyed that one. Nice to see an Alpine A110 featured (briefly) as well.
Two clips.
First is a slo-mo HD vignette of the 2010 IoM TT. What this shows are those moments that are lost watching the race at full speed, such as air under both wheels / full suspension compression / scraped bellypans etc.
The second (hopefully) demonstrates the first clip at full chat.

His Dad, Roger, aint far behind usually.
I found this very absorbing. An episode of Equinox (used to love that programme back in the day) on the early days of turbo F1 cars. Dated 1984 - 1986, it's a delicious period piece showing a F1 engine being developed in a big shed with hand-driven lathes and drawing boards. The best bit, for me, is the process of making the mouldings for the engine casts. By hand. Using hammers and chisels. From Brazilian mahogany. In a Birmingham shed.

Lewis vs Vettel at Barcelona was close.
Nige vs Ayrton at Jerez was closer.

2006.
Rossi is on the Camel Yam, it has been bloody fighting between himself and the Repsol Honda jockeys all season, and at Estoril both Repsol boys are out of the race - an uncharacteristic misjudgement by Pedrosa results in a lowside crash that also takes out championship leader Hayden.
A Rossi win = his sixth top class championship.
We end up with a three-way dice between probably my favourite modern day GP riders: Vale, Elias, Roberts Jr:

The upshot of all that is Rossi stacks it at the final race at Valencia, which means that the 6/1000ths of a second at Estoril he lost 1st place by lost him a championship.
Such is racing.
Like Emilio Alzamora in the 125cc class in 2000. Crashing at Philip Island, he got back on, got it started again, and finished 15th for one World Championship point. He was World Champion by 1 point.

I enjoyed that.
Not sure if the title if the 80's was the "Golden Decade of Motorsport", but it's a bloody good vid: lots of quattro S1's / Delta S4's / Lancia 037's and F1 cars belching turbo-generated flames:

Onboard a McLaren M6B CanAm at Road America.
The way these cars put their power down is just amazing, it looks like the video is sped up every time he accelerates.

Cheers for posting, chap (now added to my favourites list on my 'tube account)
I'm not sure if this has been posted on this thread yet, so apologies if it has.
British Superbike Championship 2011, and it's between Tommy Hill (#33) and John Hopkins (#21) for the top spot. Final race of the season, and it's quite simple: whoever wins the race wins the championship.

Earlier, and for no apparent reason, I was trawling the 'tube for anything to do with the 1957 GP at Pescara. It tabled nothing, except:
The 1957 Monaco GP in Colour
It just reeks of motorsport history:
