Spa GP 1970 the last one on the old circuit... shame about the music
Thanks for that, Pedro was a great driver and the BRM was a lovely car but almost always broke down but not on that occasion where it ran faultlessly. This was much to the disappointment of Chris Amon following in the March 701 and waiting for the inevitable smoke plume. Chris was another great driver who sadly never won a championship F1 race. He did win the 1970 (2 part) International Trophy in the March at Silverstone though.Spa GP 1970 the last one on the old circuit... shame about the music

He won in the Matra in a non championship race in argentina (or brazil). The thing that makes the 1970 race special is that Amon kept his foot flat down through the Masta Kink on the last lap in a last ditch attempt to catch Pedro.

Smooth! I'd love to see these cars running historic F1 . . .There's been some good rally footage on here, but not enough!!
So, here's some of my choices, you may notice some bias as to the event

He won....
Here's another one from Calum, the Gribun stage this time

Mishnish Lochs from Steve Cressey's point of view, this emphasises the character of the event as only one leg is in daylight. (stage start is at 2:10)

This is an arty one of the Tobermory stage on the 40th anniversary of the event.

Not sure if the title if the 80's was the "Golden Decade of Motorsport", but it's a bloody good vid: lots of quattro S1's / Delta S4's / Lancia 037's and F1 cars belching turbo-generated flames:
