You'll be hard-pushed to find more wheelspin or opposite-lock in an F1 car. Wet weather Detroit in Renault 1.5litre turbo. And who is the genius behind the wheel? A certain Eddie Cheever. Enjoy.

Love that. A reminder to me that, even with a car 20 years tounger and better tyres/brakes/suspension etc, I would never get anywher enear that.

Ans as for that french hillclimb (Audi R8 I belive). Wow!
I thought it was a french Courage chassis?

His economy with the steering is awesome.
Talking about economy of steering ... you won't find any here:

Patrick Depailler
wet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xDMvKHoAyU&fmt...
or dry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTbXc4_H4Cc&fmt...
Both those Depailler vids are epic! clap

The sensation of speed on the Long Beach one is brilliant. Love the way he just goes balls out straight away on what must be cold tyres (I assume).

Thanks for posting thumbup
I have forgotten how epic the Long Beach Track was, get it back on the calender please

Goulds and Pilbeams are by far the fastest cars on hillclimbs. I've witnessed them doing mid 40's on the Loton Park 'climb.

Not an actual race clip, but a video that some may have considered elusive. It's the full video of the 'schumacher driving style' clip. I've never seen it before. Apologies if it's already known about.

Targa Florio 1973:

French documentry (5 parts, about 5 minutes each). Fantastic evocative shots, interviews with the drivers etc.

This is the first part;

Brilliant - especially the open practice (Stratos, Alfa, Ferrari) - all amongst the daily traffic !
