Some pics from the Rally Show today at Chatsworth
Mark II Escort
Mark I Escort getting sideways
Stunning (looking and sounding) AMV8 rally prep'd cars
Mark Higgins giving the AMV8 some hammer in the run up to the start line
An oldie but a goody (and another superb sounding car)
And finally....... 911s lining up for their run

Well I got bloody wet!
Not a bad day out though. Loved the GT's (click for video).
Aston rally cars have full leather!
I never knew there was a Group B Lada Riva
A few more here.

Agree with comments on pricing - bit of a joke
Unless you are massively into rallying not more than three hours worth of entertainment
Difficult to understand what was going on competition wise and the placement of the big screen was a joke
There must be somewhere on the estate where they could set up a head to head stage as in WRC events

Hi there,
Gave this a miss yesterday because of the weather but got up this morning and thought well its only water.
A great day, lots of superb cars including some WRC, but the main draw for me as always was the Group B cars.
Stayed dry until around 12 midday and then the heavens opened, made for lots of mud spraying round corners etc.
Here are a selection of my shots: -
1) Well had to start with one from the water splash
2) Mud, Mud Glorius Mud
3) In the dry this morning
4) There was a superb selection of Escorts today
5) Ex Paris-Dakar Peugeot 405 T16 - awesome
6) Opel - digging deep
7) Porsche 911 GT3 -as quick off road as on
8) No jokes please, its a Skoda
9) Porsche with some battle damage
10) Aston Martin Vantage - one of two running today
Theres a few more on my site, with another page to come tomorrow.

Indeed very pants weather but the most annoying thing for me was some real uninspiring marshal.
It seems that being official press, MSA accredited and fully tabarded up means nothing to some of the small minded little hitlers there on Saturday. Normally I have the up most respect and admiration for the hard working marshals who give up their time to ensure that motor sport stays safe. . but there is a line.
As a photographer we sign bits of paper to waver all of your rights, you can stand in harms way.
That's my job and my risk!
Any hoo, here's some snaps:
