There has never been a gay F1 driver (although Giovanna Amati took it up the A1 Ring apparently*)

I know of photos of one world champion who still races, showing him having "relations" with two women. Very incriminating in the wrong hands!
iirc Mark Webber was the winner of the 1997 F3 teams Bradshaw race on the evening before that years BGP having come second in the race earlier that day.
(3 or 4 Bradshaws driven by various drivers, most of the teams support trolleys (with mechanics, hangers on and a few drivers sitting on them) cable-tied together in trains and 'raced' around the infield )
