No it isnt. It is a random meaningless gesture that will affect almost minutely. To that end he registered his annoyance and then carried on with the interview like a professional.

Murder, rape, gbh are all what one might term "fking disgusting", the throwing of some nuts though is just childish and vapid.

A sense of perspective people. I dread to think how some of you would or do react to genuine trauma, do you go speechless as you have run out of hyperbolic adjectives?

They threw nuts at him? Is that a reference to monkey? If so, how come there is not a LOT more being made of this? Imagine if a Brit had done this?

Rubens was a fantastic loser, I was most impressed with him.

Dear Sir,

Kindly refrain from using such silly parlance on PH.

The correct terminology is, of course, "Calm Down Dear"........ biggrinbiggrin

Given the ethnic mix in Brazil it's very unlikely it was racialy motivated, far more likely to be a pissed Brazilian thinking that hamilton ruined RB's race and therefore championship hopes with the puncture

Ahh don't worry Lewis, do your talking on the track and win that title next year in Brazil. Your one of the top drivers.

Indeed. He has calmed down a lot since the "bla, bla, bla" incident!

The Brazilian crowd are pretty appalling. If there wasn't so much marketing budget in F1 focused on South America they'd be out...

These 'partisan' crowds are the worst going.

- No cheer for race winner Webber
- No cheer for champion Button
- Things being thrown at Hamilton et al

Despite having 'our own' teams real race fans don't mind who wins as long as it's all above board hence deserved. Can't they fk off and follow football where this sort of thing passes as ok?

I got mightily annoyed when I heard (or thought I heard) Legard saying that the Brazilian crowd are the most enthusiastic F1 crowd. Has he never been to Silverstone!?!?!? The muppet.

I doubt he's ever been in the grandstands at Silverstone, and to be fair they are so far away from the track you can't hear them from the commentary box...
