Onboard the Sierra from Sunday where it ran 6th fastest overall

Sunday was excellent, and some excellent cars on view.
Public access to the paddock was unrestricted, and it did have an old goodwood feel to the day.
Some really clean Lotus Cortina were there, although only one on track.
Some very well prepared sprinters on track. Nice weather, and not too busy If the sevenoaks car club can keep this a regular event it will no doubt get more popular.
No 911's raced that day, so come on boys, lets be avin you.

sunday had a real nice green porsche in the same class as my dad, it was rally setup but stil bloody quick and look/sounded the nuts

It was a 3.0, and yes it was the only 911 running

It was really fast though, posted 10th quickest time of the day

Watched those vids of teh Sierra. Real pity. I'm amazed that got 6th fastest though - from the looks of the vid, he was off boost most of the time - just too tight and twisty for a big car like a sierra. Any 7's / elises etc there on the day?

A couple of older 7s on Monday, ,neither was that quick

yes, in the Spider, with dampers that work this year. (unlike last year). Still, its just a fun event, wont be trying that hard, not with all that armco and those trees.
