How did you hear? I'm just checking news sites and can't find anything

I hope it's not the case. If so good luck to him and his family

Thanks Asterix / doesn't look life threatening but may ruin his season - gutted for him

italian news:

"Kubica crashed into the wall of a church. His conditions where terrible, almost life-threatening. Firemen extracted him conscious from the car and he was taken to hospital by helicopter. No mortal wounds but medical officers confirmed he was in red code. It seems he received a hard leg trauma (probably broken thighbone) and they were even thinking of amputating it."

guess a badly broken femur is life threatening if you have enough bleeding....

This is not looking good if he's to be on the grid in Bahrain.

just as he finally got himself (what is apparently) a quick car, as well. Let's hope he makes a full and speedy recovery. I am hoping that the report above is a bit of an exaggeration given its source...
