Being a sad git, I have been reading an F1 book, that my mother-in-law gave me for Christmas, and it had a 'what happened' in the 50's, 60's etc..

I am now 31, and have only been really into F1 for the past 6/7 years. So it was interesting to see who won what, and when.

The cars looked fantastic around the time I was born!

So as I am still bored, I thought I was start a thread for people to ost a pic of the car that took the world championship the year they were born.

Here's mine..

Senna in an MP4/5B in the F1, Jaguar XJR12 in Le Mans. Although the OH has it even better, Senna won in the MP4/4 and the Jag XJR9 in Silk Cut colours took Le Mans victory.

Guess the year -

World Driver's Champion

World Constructor's Champion

It was one of those years where the two championships were NOT won by the same team.
