Heading up this weekend with a few friends, been following this thread with interest - fantastic pictures all!
Red Devil your posts have been super insightful Thank you!! Heading anti-clockwise over four days, finishing off at the Torridon on the Sunday, weather looks fair! We'll be looking at following the NC500 route, however welcome to suggestions!

I like lighthouses. Was up there two weeks ago.
Are all the new pics on Skye? I recognise The Storr.
Also recognise Storr, made it halfway up before meeting the cloud coming down. Are all the new pics on Skye? I recognise The Storr.
The bears are definitely Skye, Dunvegan. (I camped in that campsite the weekend the oil rig got blown onto Lewis)
Everything else apart from the train looks very much like Skye, the train looks like Huntly! (not saying it cannot be duplicated..)

No, not all. The Storr was far too easy. Are all the new pics on Skye? I recognise The Storr.

The bears are indeed at Dunvegan. Opposite the Lochside Crafts and Tearoom. The train isn't at Huntly though. The bears are definitely Skye, Dunvegan. (I camped in that campsite the weekend the oil rig got blown onto Lewis)

Spot on up to and including Little Loch Broom/Dundonnell.
Loch Maree from the A832 viewpoint above Kinlochewe was far too easy as it has been featured many times on this thread.
'Gairloch area' is a bit vague though: how far does that extend?
Btw, have you worked out yet which one you got wrong in the last lot you identified?
I've just noticed that the penultimate photo didn't display properly? Here it is.
Day 6. This came to a premature end photo-wise as I forgot to charge my camera battery overnight. D'oh!

The start of our trip to the Highlands was a two day stay at Berwick upon tweed after the long drive up from Essex a quick drive onto Holy island where you can buy lovely crab sandwiches in one of the local pubs.A bit of a strange incident a woman in a wheel chair asked if she could order some food from her table and was told she had to go to the bar and to be quick has they closed for food in 5 minutes,The only rude person we encounter on this trip.Berwick is worth stay with good walks around the castle walls and nice eatery's again crab sandwiches but now washed down with wine ruled the day.

I was just going to put some pictures up of my trip but just can't get any where near the quality of get carter's, do you do this for a living they are better than the post cards that are sold in the shops.
Ta I do sell postcards/books/DVDs up here - but it's my second, not primary job.http://stevecarter.com
I highly recommend these cards, the pics are as good as GetCarters.

(Note I have nothing to do with GetCarter, other than being a previous transporter of his Ted)
And your pics are indeed wanted! Each pic makes me want to take another trip over there..
(Darn, I'm too slow)
