Somebody caught doing 130 on the A832.
There are two sets of laybys on each side of the road west of the station.
Both on the long straights where people will be going at warp factor 9.
It's their favourite location and they catch people every time they set up the trap.
We will be passing it on Friday.

Yep. NOT the place to speed. It was a Dutch tourist in a borrowed 911. £500 fine and 1 year ban (which he won't have to serve as he's going back to Holland this week).There are two sets of laybys on each side of the road west of the station.

She should MYOB: I'm sure the Dutch are capable of dealing with any matters which may occur with him in their own country without her assistance.

MR2 on the Old Military Road by Lewis Craik, on FlickrI had a great drive up the Old Military Road this morning. Then across to Lochcarron, the roads were good, but the weather was pretty rubbish this afternoon. We're now holed up in our chalet with the log burner on and a 1988 Tomatin that we picked up earlier. I could get used to this!

I'm in two minds as to what car to take. What would be most suited to the roads? - i've a GT3 (sits very very low down and stiff) and an M5 to choose from. I was minded to take the M5 as i've only just bought it and need to get to know it but wondering if the 911 would suit the roads better?

Not much in it IMO. More comfortable in the M, but slightly more fun in the Porker. A lot depends how far you have to drive to get here... M for motorways!I'm in two minds as to what car to take. Depends on your route....there's certainly some of the minor roads up here that have been mangled badly by the logging lorries, I'd expect anything with lower than normal suspension might ground quite easily.I'm in two minds as to what car to take.
