Mull is a cracking island though it can be quite isolating. Tobermory, for its size, has many good eateries. I'm across here working every 5th or 6th weekend.

It is indeed. We went across to Vatersay but only a couple of pictures. Took the dog up Heaval for a walk.

Same view, without the dog.

Hi all,

Just wanted to share with you a few pics from a recent Scottish Highland's trip me and a few friends done. Didn't want to bore you so only included a few.

We all travelled up from Wales and it was a great trip with amazing scenery and roads! Hope to do it again soon.

It rains up there you know! In 2, 3 and 4 they are down.

My mountain-fu is failing me. Where is 4?

Yep I was going to say, what the pictures don't show is the very frequent showers we had.

Still managed to get the roof down a few times though.

I'll take your word for it - I know 'nout about Mazdas. They are all indeed Mazdas, as the hotel is full of blokes with Mazda T shirts.

The new MX-5 pelted drives are happening up there this week, perfect roads for it.

Very good knowledge and spot on. I been racking my brains on this one and really cannot remember where it exactly was. It was literally a last minute pull in to stretch the legs.

If I had to take a guess, I would say it was somewhere on the A87, as we stopped off in Fort William and continued north to Lochcarron that afternoon. Possibly near Loch Cluanie, but can't be sure.

D'oh!

In my defence it's not as instantly recognisable and I have never taken any photos there.
It's not as photogenic as the other locations and I don't normally stop anywhere between Invergarry and Shiel Bridge.
It's far too good a road to miss by being parked up. wink
