Hiring from Caterham South - good driving routes?

Right all, treating myself to a day in a Caterham next Friday. We're picking the car up from Caterham south (Surrey) - but I'm pretty clueless re: good driving roads around there. Does anyone have any good suggested routes/itineries? My first thought is to take the car down to the coast (Brighton/Eastbourne) via some A/B roads.... Any other thoughts/suggestions?

you only have 120 miles to play with, but Birling Gap would be an excellent choice. These guys hired one and had a great time around the roads of Surrey, Kent & Sussex.

I'd cancel the 120 mile hire from Caterham south, drive a little further on and hire from these guys, then head on into south Wales.
