July 2014 I'm off on a trip to the Pyrenees with me mates :)
Discussion
Three years since the last trip with the lads to Spain ....... Mate rang me this morning telling me to make sure my passports is ok for the summer. We are heading down on the ferry from Plymouth to Santandar and then across to the Pyrenees.
All I need to do now is the following:
Get the aircon sorted .. 35 degrees last time I was there, and its packed up
Get the RS flywheel and clutch fitted as my DMF is on the way out
Install the RS quick shifter
New top mounts
New dampers
New springs .....
Gulp I need some money and quickly.
I'll post later which route we will be taking to the mountains for future reference, just as soon as I work out how to show the route on Google Maps and post it here.
I can't wait
I cant put all the info in at the moment because google won't allow you to cross Passes that are closed because of the weather.
Zoom in to really see the route and the twisties
Day 1 Changed to St Malo to Vielha
Fast blast down to get us to base camp
bks I can't get it to work

And from Jaca go and find the N260
(Avoid Andorra, the queues are not worth it just for a cheap tank of juice.)
I see you've got a flag on Vielha - good hotel there, the Parador de Vielha - stayed there a couple of years ago.
If you've got an older TomTom with itinerary planning or a Garmin then that TYRE software is great for route planning - just make sure you stick plenty of waypoints on the route you want so it doesn't decide to go slightly off-piste!
