Pyrenees in March
Discussion
Hi PHers,
Travelling from St Malo to Malaga in early March and I am looking for a route over the Pyrenees. Done Figueres on the east and Irun on the west so now wanting to go over the middle. Looking at Pau to Huesca unless somebody knows better.( and I am absolutely certain somebody on here will ) All tips and experiences gratefully received.

That is the road that takes through Biescas? Travelling from St Malo to Malaga in early March and I am looking for a route over the Pyrenees. If so, the road south from the France/Spanish border is in a pretty bad way all the way to Biescas.
Never driven it, but maybe on my next trip in June, Pau, south to Jaca. It does seem pretty good and I've had my eye on it for a while.
Saying that, not sure either of these routes will be passible in March?

Yea, goes through Biescas. If you've had bad reports I'll take another look. Snow/passability is another problem but I will look at that nearer the time. Will see what I can find out about Pau to Jaca.If so, the road south from the France/Spanish border is in a pretty bad way all the way to Biescas.
