An amazing drive during sunrise. Never thought it would possible to have so much fun in a rental shopping trolley! The top had cloud cover, which made a great sight while approaching it.

My favourite drive in Gran Canaria was the coastal road GC-200 which runs from Agaete in the North-West to Puerto De Mogan in the South. The GC-60 is also fantastic with great scenery but I agree that you would appreciate it more in a car with more power than the lime green Mazda 2 which we hired. The only downside about the journey was that my partner decided that I was having to much fun on the way back (meaning the passenger seat would soon develop a brown stain) and insisted she drove the rest of the way.

What camera are you using and how are you mounting it ? To be honest all this uploading to the web etc is a bit beyond me but I'd like to give it a go as I know some great roads in Spain I could share.

A friend of mine has decided he's had enough of our censored weather and emigrated to the island next door.

Roads like these.

Nothing fancy. I have my old Drift Hd170 with me as a holiday action cam (normally I use Drift HD Ghost-s with a metre long mount) and the Delkin suction mount. I mount the camera with the suction cup either to the bonnet of the car or to the windshield (for wider view). I wouldn´t recommed too antisocial behavior while driving like this, as I can imagine the the police would´t be too happy find you speeding like crazy with a camera on your bonnet. Hence, early morning runs, with semi-sensible speeds for me. I adjust the speed of the clip on the editor to make it more watchable (and to corropt possible evidence.. ;-))
