Ah - thanks, but I meant an indication of the likely camera location. I'm fairly familiar with the road, and wouldn't be overly worried if the camera is near the hairpin bend where everyone parks up to take pictures.

On the other hand, enforcement on the Southern side of the hill heading down towards Brynamman could be more problematic. I'm hoping that the wide open spaces and great visibility that make it so good would also make it bad for hiding cameras on.

Ah, ISWYM.

If travelling north and they are lurking at the hairpin, I reckon you become vulnerable just before where the white car is - https://goo.gl/maps/VX6WyiJC1fA2
Rotate through 180 degrees to see why. In the opposite direction, I reckon it would begin where that same car is here - https://goo.gl/maps/uvsWauqTrUE2

I haven't been along the A4069 since the 40 limit was imposed so have no idea where else they might be choosing to hide.

That's the good news - Streetview doesn't really do it justice, but at this point here there's at least a mile of clear view. Anything at the side of the road that's bigger than a sheep would be pretty obvious.

When 40 limits look like that, it doesn't do their credibility any favours.
