I'm a week away from doing this and very much looking forward to it. I'll post one or two photos up just in case Wozy or Carbon XKR are tempted by the "worlds' best driving road" in Cheshire.

We did most of this last month on the bike. We rode to Bagneres de Luchon, stayed the night then went off into the Pyrenees heading for Vielha then the same route but we carried on to Besalu. Besalu is well worth a visit, try to find the restaurant at the end of the old bridge called Jardins de Besalu. Not the best ever food but really nice setting, very chilled. Fantastic twisty roads on a bike, some friends and I are going again Tuesday, might end up there again
Cadaques is really nice on the coast too. The roads are in fantastic shape and shame the French ones when you cross over the border.
Enjoy.

LOL. Cheshire you say? Stuff the trip in September to Spain then. I'm off up the empty M6 just to drive the nirvana roads of Cheshire.https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z1ahuj2hTEP...
Later I might just drive the 500 miles to the Highlands for a quick bleast on roads congested with caravaners rather than the 180 miles to the port for the ferry to empty twisty boring roads of Spain.
Who'd want to do that instead .

Now you see you've been enticed by the Platja D'aro after that photo of the lovely beach from our room Your trip looks great and I'm so tempted to go again but our place in Cyprus needs attention so we're off there for the summer... Enjoy your trip!https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z1ahuj2hTEP...
