I had 5 days on Como (Varenna) last month: it was fantastic. Can I recommend on the return heading to Champagne? I'd get a room in Epernay, and drive round the tourist champagne route stopping at any independent houses for a taste and a bottle or two. Or 20 depending on your wallet and amount of 'luggage' space available.
