Hi,
I could some expert help please? I am involved in a corporate event taking 12 cars down to Devon. We're looking for a place to have everyone stop for lunch that doesn't stray far from the A303.

Can anyone suggest a (non dogging) picnic area type place where we can either buy speedy snacks or enjoy a pack lunch?

We're on a time deadline so don't have time to go elsewhere.

Thanks a lot!!

Er, the A303 ends 6 miles short of Honiton. spin

I can't think of anywhere suitable which is close to the A30 between there and Exeter. Unless your stop has to be on that stretch, why not try Cartgate Lodge in Somerset - https://goo.gl/maps/YR6JP - right by the A303/A3088 junction - http://cartgatelodgecafe.co.uk/the-cartgate-lodge-...

But he said he wanted a picnic area... wobble
I discounted Route 303 as it's next door to a filling station and has nowhere to sit outside.
