Vosges - Route Des Cretes

tried searching on here - but can't seem to find any threads on this

has anyone does this ? recommended ?

Going in 2 weeks - will there still be snow ?

any advice much appreciated

It really is a great road, we did it back in 2011. Can't help re snow though as it was in September.

i did this trip this week btw

the very top of the 430 Route Des Cretes was shut

but there were still epic roads in and around it, the 431 was sensational !! it was empty, but I can imagine the place being very busy in summer

the road surfaces were poor, assuming due to time of year

overall, i would certainly recommend it
