Guildford to Norwich

Anyone here drive this route? I'm after an idea of how long it might take at 7am on a Saturday morning.

From memory you can normally do it about 2:30 depending on traffic (obviously). That time of day you should have a pretty straight run.

I normally go north around the M25 rather than south (there isn't much in it).

Thanks. I'm factoring 3.5hrs - so any quicker will be a massive bonus. Is there a new section of carriageway?

They widened the A11 a while back so much faster now.

3.5 is plenty. You can even break the journey and stop at the services next to Stanstead if you're hungry/thirsty/need toilet
