Do you have a more detailed plan for the Alps section? There are a few of us heading down that way for the Monaco GP and would be great to compare notes.
Also, are you consciously avoiding the Swiss alps on the expectation that many of the passes will be closed?
I simply don't have enough time for the Swiss Alps. Also, are you consciously avoiding the Swiss alps on the expectation that many of the passes will be closed?
I did the Andermatt loop last September, and will aiming to head down that way again this Sept.
Regarding Alps, I am simply going to follow the Route Des Grand Alps

I just booked a room in Sort. Damn its cheap around there !
Did you book Hotel Pessets in Sort? If so don't bother with the underground parking as the slope is very steep. Parking out the front is fine, the police station is opposite and the hotel reception is right there. Plus it's a friendly little town, we're there at the end of June!Enjoy the trip

Hi Warren, I'll be going that way in June but I can't see the C28 on Gmaps or Motogoloco until the section from Sorpe running into Vielha. Is this the bit you mean? All I can see from Sort is N260 arriving from ESE and leaving SW and the C13 heading north to Vielha.

I'd be VERY surprised if Galibier or Iseran will be open, surprisingly Bonette IS, not sure when Petite St Bernard is due open but it's usually mid JuneI did the Andermatt loop last September, and will aiming to head down that way again this Sept.

If they aren't you will need to look at the Frejus tunnel, Also bear in mind that the road from Grenoble to Briancon has been closed for over a year which reduces options to avoid the tunnel
Col de Iseran today -

I was amazed by how early Bonette was open this year and Vars is a favourite if mine but more north to south!
I guess you have sorted out your peage tag?
