Any good roads from Leeds to Lutterworth avoiding M1?

Hi, I have to drive to Lutterworth next week. I thought lets avoid the usual M1 trip and actually drive on some interesting roads!

Any suggestions to take my e90 M3 on?

Yes! But not, sadly, between Leeds and Lutterworth. Set the cruise to 75ish, put some calm music on and if you pick your time right and have a fair following wing you'll only have to suffer the M1 for a couple of hours each way.

A bit difficult to make any suggestions when you don't say where next week's journey starts from.
Does the previous poster know something the rest of us don't?

Oooops sorry not much good with a start destination which is Leeds!

Am going to go via the Peak District, some good roads there I have heard.
