Had a lovely trip on this route Saturday morning to Monday evening taking in my dads 80th birthday party, Art of Performance event at Dundas Castle, Applecross visit and dash North for the teatime boat home to Orkney. Some photos below......

That was the Birthday boy and his ex command - a 38ft Prawn trawler he fished out of Burghead before retiring.

Next day we headed off to Dundas Castle - Souht Queensferry, Edinburgh for a Jaguar F Pace event. Hour and a half road drive of F pace of choice, followed by taster sessions of the Jaguar range. A Ice cube climb in the F Pace and a rally run with a professional driver - scared me sh&&&less!!

Headed for Glencoe for an overnight at the Isle of Glencoe Hotel, nice views and great food.
Next day off to Applecross. Weather was appalling but roads still nice and empty.

A stop off at Eilean Donnan Castle then onwards for the Belach na Beah......

Looking forward to doing this when summer returns to the Highlands, a great run even in the rain smile

Thanks, he's doing great for his age indeed! The F-Pace was great, drove the 2.0 R Sport and the 3.0 Diesel S. Lot of grunt in the 3.0 but the 2.0 is no slouch either. Very comfortable and excellent driving position. Great passenger ride with a rally driver around the grounds, frightened me for sure wink and on 22" rims and summer tyres too so the 4wd system works well.
