I'm planning to do this trip in the summer and wondered if anybody had done it, got a good plan, accommodation recommendations etc
We are intending to do it in 4 days with a day either side to drive to Scotland. Is this realistic? There'll be 4-5 cars I expect.

Some take 10 days to do the route, others do it in a day.
