A group of us are looking to do a track day at Cadwell Park in June and then going off for two days on some amazing driving roads.

Any ideas please?

Could go west into Wales as we know those roads reasonably well, but is there anything north without going too deep into Scotland?

Cheers.

^ That could be combined with some of the awesome roads on the North York Moors.

Have you got any specific North York Moors roads in mind as that is closer to Cadwell Park than going to the Lake District?

Ideally we're looking to leave Louth (Cadwell Park) on a Thursday morning and get on some decent roads as soon as possible without driving hundreds of miles. We can go any direction and then stay overnight, but ultimately need to be heading back down south towards London on the Friday.

We did some of the amazing welsh roads last year inc. the EVO triangle and are looking for something similar.

Many thanks,

Brilliant - I'll look at those in that case.

We're looking for a full days driving so will have to 'pad' it out somewhat.

You don't have to go far. This lot will be right on your doorstep!

From the Top 10 Driving Roads in the UK thread.

Most of the roads around Bardney, Horncastle, particularly the white road from Bardney to Baumber then up the B1225 Caistor High St.
B1205 west of Caistor
B1202 Bardney - Wragby - Rasen
B1190
A157 to Horncastle then B1183 to Revesby then take the A155 in either direction
B1398
A607 or better still, the white roads running on the top of the Cliff above it
B1191
B1188
B1202 back to Bardney...
n.b. the A157 goes to Wragby: from there it's the A158 to Horncastle.

That lot should keep you occupied between breakfast and lunch. wink

Would anyone be as kind enough to dot the above on to a Google map please? I've driven the Caistor to Horncastle road a fair few times but keen to check out the others.
