As per the title. Looking for some suggestions, and even better, some pictures of some great driving roads with great scenery in Europe. Ferry booked for the 3rd of April and it's literally an open trip. As far as we can go in a week (including coming back).
So what are your suggestions other than the usual Col de Turini and Stelvio Pass...

Black Forest. Stay on the L roads, avoid the B 500. You could easily do 3 days' driving there and then finish off with the Vosges on the way home.

Route Napoleon going down, Route Des Grandes Alps going back up and switch across to the Black Forest after. Mind it'll be hard work to fit it all into a week.

Yup to this. Route Napoleon was fantastic when I did it on the bike.

Pyrenees well worth a visit.

I can't remember where this is, but I would recommend the N260.

D996 from Reims to Dijon.

Fantastic road and usually very quiet as most traffic takes the autoroute.

Good shout but a long way to do in a week and expensive. If you do remember that road, let me know. I thought I'd been on most of the good ones but I missed that one.

That's the C-28.
Head east out of Vielha & it's as you come down the mountain after Puerto de la Bonaigua.

Watch out for sheep/horses in the road & diesel spills in the bends if it's wet.

Turns to beautiful open sweepers as it becomes the C-13 further south heading towards Sort (where you're back onto the N-260).

Didn't recognize the view looking at it that way. I did it uphill but didn't stop for photos. I'll be on it on my upcoming trip in May but going downhill this time.

I'll be in the opposite direction this year on the return journey from the Catalunya MotoGP.

I have a similar trip coming up mid-march. The only requirement is that I need to be in Stuttgart mid-week for a bit of work.

Currently thinking something like this....

PS - if you're going into Germany or Alps, you'll still probably need winters in April. I'll certinaly be driving with them on.

Enjoy

PPS - critique, /recommendations welcome and I also want to see if any of the links below are close to my route as they should all be open (albeit on winters as I said)

One I drove last month takes some beating: The D2566 from Menton to the Col de Turini.

A neat bonus is that if you have Dirt Rally game you can practice the top part of it before you go!

^^^The best bit just past Notre-Dame de la Menour
