Reims to Lake Constance

Can anyone suggest a scenic route, taking in Alsace, Vosges Mountains to arrive at north Lake Constance

D994 to Bar Le Duc then to Neufchateau is the best route I found from Reims

But I would go thru Luxembourg to Saarbruken and do the Route de le Crete to Mulhouse and across to Lake Constance which is a car park in summer
