Im aiming to get there probably around lunchtime, think its about a 2 hour drive from Manchester. If you manage to sort out times we could meet somewhere?

I'll be in a Blue R8. Probably a bit later than that, but I'm off somewhere up that way first and I've no idea how long it might take and there's bugger all phone signal up most of that way

Looks like it'll be a nice day. There's loads of good spots for photos there by the lakes
I'll have my camera too, but I'm a strictly 'everything on auto' style photographer

Beautiful conditions up there today, and roads practically empty
This is from just south of the triangle by about ten miles, but I thought it made a good pic anyway

Aye, bad luck we missed each other - always next time I guess. Some stunning weather and views out there, and yeah, pretty much all to myself. Can't believe I've waited so long to drive those roads.

I had alot of fun, spotted two lads in a Red Seat (I think Cupra?) looked like they were having fun. I just wish I'd taken more pictures, but I actually found it pretty hard to stop. I'll post a couple here, the rest I'll stick on a Gallery on my site (its about time I actually added some content): Clicky

Nice pics went up there yesterday with a few others in a BMW E36 M3, BMW 330Ci and a 997 Carrera S. Had a great time; not driven round North Wales since last August, feel as though i should try and venture out there more often.

Yeah, think thats the first time ive been to wales in 13+ years. Last time I was there I must have been like 8. I really should go more often, because the roads are amazing, just sucks that it takes about 2 hours to get there.

There are lots of nice roads up there, my wife has family near/in Ruthin so go up on a fairly regular basis. The drive up there can be a chore but once there the roads can be a real pleasure.

Great pics

As I type, I have got an A3 map printed off (on paper, old school!) that I am marking up a route on, as I'm planning a (long) day of driving around N.Wales sometime soon (when I get my car back from the blo0dy dealer!). Obviously I know about the triangle, and the road to Bala, but if your pics (which look great!) were anywhere else you'd really suggest checking out then can you let me know?

I wouldn't want to go there and miss any cracking roads

wow, some of that is really obscure! (single-track etc). Even a gate across one of those roads half-way down. Looks a little too obscure in places. But some good ideas to follow-up though, thanks.
