We've had a drought here for 8 weeks... almost wall to wall sun. 2 years running we've needed water bowsers. But August is almost always crap weather, so if you want rain... that's when to come.

I might make it for the last week of July but the weather looks showery for then, i'll see what happens when I go to work tomorrow.

Don't think I'd risk August, not because of the weather but the school kids !! (bless 'em, I love them really)

Lybster harbour - really lovely and when you get down to the harbour there's a little tea shop. Here are some of the harbour.

great roads, was in north scotland a couple of weeks ago! i hope you drove the A939!!!!!!! looks like you did at one point. Cracking road. near 50miles of mixed road.....through forest to open mountain road!
