Great road. Been up there 4 times since the start of the year, 1st time when it was icy.

Am I mad? Perhaps.

Getting a bit addicting now hehe

Got a load of pictures, but photobucket is being an arse so I guess my profile pic will have to do.

Some nice shots there. I used to go up there in my FQ300 quite a bit, that car was amazing on those roads.
Thanks. I'm hoping to head up there at the end of March, or early April.

Interesting that most people post photos of the one boring bend between Byrnamman and Llangadog!

DaveJ - I saw you two heading up towards Eppynt this morning, I'd just been over there and was off towards the A4069.

Hope you had as good a time as I did. smile

Will be up there again on the 9&10 of April.

Also, I saw an old episode of Topgear tonight- M5 on the Breccon Beacons, including this bend.

Ok, the last one isn't from the bend, it is from the car park overlooking the national park. But many a happy hour has been spent there, either relaxing between spirited drives or watching other performance cars go past. spin
Those are some cracking pictures smile Wouldn't complain if i saw one of those as POTW thumbup

Was up there earlier today.

If you were in the Twingo who spun their car coming through the hairpin downhill....

You are a prize tt who should be taken off the road.

That's not the time or the place to practice hand-braking your stty little hatchback - especially when there's someone on a bike coming the other way.

Firstly, handbrake turns on public roads are stupid. Secondly, it's not even as if visibility was restricted, the konb would have been able to see the biker well before pulling the handbrake.

Grr.

Sorry mate I didn't see you. I'm fairly new to handbrake turns and theres not really anywhere in Ponty to practice. It wasnt that close though and you looked to be going pretty quick aswell.
