Random one - Elstree and Borehamwood to Bromley!!?

Hi all,
I am doing a trip on Saturday morning down to Bromley. I usually avoid the M25 as it is rubbish by the QE2 bridge and go M25 East (to J28 i think) then take M11 south and then N.circular round through the Blackwall tunnel.
Is there a fun way of going there, taking in some good roads that have less/no traffic (a long shot I know!).
I will be taking my TVR Chimaera you see!
I have another trip from Borehamwood to Devon soon, EX13, but will post separately.
