Stuck in the same spot for over an hour now. Anyone know what's happening? Anti clockwise heading toward m11.

On the M25 anti-clockwise between junctions J29 and J28, there are currently delays of 40 mins caused by congestion due to a multi-vehicle accident closing the road between junctions J28 and J27. Normal traffic conditions expected from 6:00 pm.

I have to drive the tunnel and bridge every day. Since the clock change it has been absolutely carp - every day getting out from crossways business park is now a nightmare. Why has the clock change turned this into a nightmare?????

I just don't get it

Mikey, I'm with you. Before half term there was generally very little traffic coming up to the tolls (Kent into Essex, evening rush hour), but last week was an absolute nightmare and this week it's generally been slow from junction 3 and then stationary from junction 2. I've noticed a few times that the last matrix sign before the tolls quite often showed the inside lane as being blocked when it wasn't which doesn't help but last night this wasn't the case and the traffic was still crap.

I think a lot of it may be down to people going to Lakeside/Bluewater (Lakeside especially) in preparation for Christmas.
