In Sussex the A272 is know has a great road, goes on for quite a while through small villages and then opens up into some nice country roads in between. Always end up having a drive around at weekends on different sections of it.

Agreed, the road from Maldon to Burnham on Crouch can be fun at the right time of day.

As you are in Colchester (snapsmile) The road from Peldon to Maldon, starting at the Peldon Rose on the Mersea road, going through Peldon, Great and Little Wigborough, Salcott and past Five Lakes Hotel, through Tolleshunt D'arcy on to Goldhanger then Heybridge.

Will have to give them a try at the weekend if the weather is good.

Had a little play on a few this afternoon coming back from Tiptree towards Mersea, then across past the reservior to Colchester. biggrin
