Road trip from Greenwich towards Margate

Hi All,

I'm hoping to spend a chunk of Sunday enjoying the weather from my car doing a road trip from Greenwich out towards Margate area.

Any particular recommendations for roads in that area, or routes to take?

Any advice appreciated - I imagine we'll be battling the Marathon traffic out of London, but hopefully will escape the crowds once we get out of the M25.

As per the other thread A20 out to Charing and then turn left up the Hill and head to Canterbury via Chilham. Pick up the A28 out of Canterbury to Margate
