German AutoBahn (s)
Discussion
A lot of the Autobahn are now covered by electronic variable speed signs, and as they replace the roads (it seems like the entire German Autobahn network is in the middle of being 'renewed') then so these signs appear. so just go along and hope for the best. Found the 110/130 limits where flashed up for no good reason other than to slow the flow of traffic (just like blighty) and that many Germans ignored them in anycase, unfortunately not so the Belgiums (who are a menace on twin laned autobahn at the best of time)
Also over the last couple of years I have found that larger and larger proportion of Germans themselves have become less and less disciplined in their driving manners, whereas a few years ago they would pull in to any gap to let a faster car make progress they now tend to stay out, wether this is due to the proliferation of 130kph speed limits, but it certainly makes for very eratic and interesting progress to put it mildly.
