Just watching this video about the MX5 on a previous Top Gear.. The roads when Hammond gets in the MK3 (Blue one for those Non-MX5'ers). Does anyone have any idea where that is? Would make a good trip to I think..

Ireland somewhere. Sorry, that's probably not helping much (if you've listened to the commentary), but I was thinking the landscape didn't look like Dartmoor or Exmoor, the road signs were wrong for Wales and I didn't recognise it as the Yorkshire Moors. nerd

No, I don't recognise it from anywhere.

At 5:05 in the video, hes at a dog racing track.. 'Park Stadium'. Any ideas on where that is?

Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium in Dublin.

Thats a shame, I'm not ferrying my car over there for a drive around frown

Most def. in Ireland as above he mentions it in the video however, when watching the video in the beginning the likeness to the A4059 on the Beacons close to were I live and drive regulary is unbelievable including the forestry lay-by's of the unclassified B roads off it (Ystradfelte to Penderyn).

Why no try the A4059?
