Dunkirk to Lucerne, Switzerland
Discussion
Me and a mate are going on a road trip to the Alps and back home via the Belgian GP and need bit of advice on which route to take. We know roughly where we are going in the alps (famous last words!) but would like to know the best route to the Lucerne area in Switzerland as we will be leaving Dunkirk at around 9am and dont want to hit too much traffic. The quickest route according to google earth is this..

I guess that depends on whether you want a quick route or a scenic route. From the look of the route you have posted, it would appear that you want to get to your destination in just one day.
We have a trip later in the year which ends up close to your destination, but we have decided to make the trip down a two day event so that we can enjoy some of the quieter/twistier roads on the way down.

Speed was fine 130 kph on cruise, you will meet at least 1 speed trap, don't push to hard !!
Head to Andermatt and do the loop !!
