Which utter tool has reduced the speed limit on the A621 as you head out of Totley to 30mph?!?
We've been on a weekend away around Sheffield/North Derbyshire and when popping down to Chatsworth I came across said absurd speed restriction - the 30mph limit extends round a few corners and then along a kinked straight through open countryside before increasing to a still absurd 40mph for a few hundred yards, then goes to NSL. Needless to say the lower limit seemed to be getting completely ignored by the locals! I wonder what goes through the minds of the people who think it can possibly be appropriate to apply such a ridiculously-low limit to a stretch of open road...
I was, though, pleasantly surprised to see that the road heading away from Owler Bar towards Baslow has remained at NSL for now... must be one of only a very few A-roads in Derbyshire that doesn't have a 50mph limit!
