best car ever driven
Discussion
This is so depressing!
My best car eve driven would be a db9 for three laps on a drivers day, although I really enjoyed a Clio 182 cup I wa lent as a curtesy car once!
Best car ever owned was my smart roadster speed silver.mit was brilliant fun, and utterly reliable (honestly!) as well as being cheap as chips to run (55mpg was the norm!)

0-60 in 4.6 seconds ( timed by this US magazine), massage seats, 29-speaker, 1,700W Meridian sound system, made in Solihull
Drove an Aston Martin Vanquish last year but it was owned by the boss or the company I work for and scared stiff of damaging it.
Best car I have ever driven must be my 911 GT3 for pure adrenalin rush and satisfaction,
So much feedback from the car but in other ways quite hard work too.

AV185 must be happy with the picture of it in your garage getting air Cracking car though, used to go like stink, popped & banged on the over-run, these cars respond so well to being driven like they're designed!

Jesus, returns after so long away to partake in a bit of product placement.
1) I'm not the messiah! (Though I might be a very naughty boy.)2) I'm a petrolhead, I'm sharing a photo of a car I'm proud of, I love, and I've worked bloody hard to acquire. I'm sorry you see things otherwise! Cheers

best I've driven and best I've ever owned will have to be my 996 GT3
Why: perfect mix of power and handling without the need for driver aids, very lucky to own it
They're pretty much the perfect drive aren't they? Not once have I ever thought "hmm, this needs more power" while driving mine. Quite often get home after a spririted drive with a dry mouth and adrenaline pumping Why: perfect mix of power and handling without the need for driver aids, very lucky to own it

Completely agree, I keep looking at what I'd consider changing it for and there's not a lot I can think of, Part of me want's a Ferrari or gallardo but I'm not convinced either will be as much fun to drive and will no doubt be much more expensive to run
I drove a 360 Challenge Stradale and whilst the noise will stay in my head forever I found the GT3 more rewarding to drive. A couple of friends have 458 Speciales though, I think I'd probably do a straight swap for either of those GrahamPM said:

Yeah I didnt see anything.....
Clio 172 cup. (had loads of more expensive cars too, never kept any of them for a fraction of the 12 years that I've had the cup for. 140k on it now, all mine, and all thoroughly enjoyable).
Next best was Lotus Elise mk2, I felt the standard brakes on the Elise weren't up to the job, if they were better I might put it in front of the cup, not a lot in it though.
