OTG - Outside temperature gauge. Another LCD that likes to bleed.

The gearknob? I don't follow.

Ahh right, trying to think back now, that's above the steering column?

From the pics, it looks like the leather covered plastic cap has come off. On closer inspection, it looks, ok..... nevermind. Serves me right for browsing on the mobile sitehehepaperbag

Thats lovely, the colour suits it imo, bit of an odd question but how do you select reverse? can you actually get it wrong as in top gear? or was it a load of rubbish and you actually have to push down or pull up?

It's a 'lift up' to get in reverse, no way you could get it wrong. That Top Gear episode was very over acted.....

That's just about the perfect interior, I'd say. Not a foppish, irrelevant embellishment in sight!

So beautiful! cloud9 I was toying with the idea of buying one in the summer, but my budget would only allow me to buy a pretty tired example, so I'm going to wait until I can afford a throughly decent example such as yours.

I love your attitude to OEM modding, personally I think the colour works well, it is a good period 1980's Merc colour.

Personally I would lose the slightly gimmicky number plates and replace them with a correct set of plates with the pre-2001 font and black german style UK dealer frames, it would make the car look much more original.

But, a lovely car!
