With the M6 overtake I don't think he was trying to say you were too close and overtook him with any danger to him. It was just that you drove clean off the track for a long time while overtaking.

Fantastic selection of cars.
I'd never heard of Mark Fish until this thread. Where in Harlow is he based as his site does not seem to have much information?
Right off the M11. he is actually more into Minis now than anything, Preps and runs a few race minis

awesome list of cars to own... true petrolhead! I really fancy a project like a turbo westie I built a kit car (locost) with my dad when I was around 11 or 12 and being the passenger in that with 180 bhp zetec engine and twin webbers felt very quick! I cannot imagine how fast it must feel with 550BHP! organ wrenching! I noticed you have a 996 turbo aswell how do you find that on track? I have a 996 turbo running around 490 BHP and fancy doing my first ever track day... would you say driving the Porsche round is fun? and what tracks would you recommend me to suit the car best? I assume larger tracks with big straights would be better than a smaller twisty circuit. would appreciate any advice pm if you like.

Cheers

Dan

Weirdly RR is on way. For my mrs next year when she comes over from Oz! Chav sport one though as thats what she likes!

had the Clio and Lotus and Westy out Yesterday at Donno. Westfield broke rear diff on lap 3 frown gutted as was sooooo looking forward to driving it and it was dry day as well.

Lotus and Clio were great fun though.

Video from my Clio. I drove this ALOT more than the ExigeS yesterday. Just so much fun.

I know.... really tempting to go for some cams and rods and few other bits and get it up to 230bhp!

Promised myself I wouldnt, will be alot harder on gearbox etc. Its so nice to have reliable cars at the moment! apart from the obvious!

Contributing a bit late to this thread, but Porkie, that Clio is absolutely perfect, loving the interior shot. When the funds allow, I'm definitely going to have to scratch the 172/182 cup itch.

I'm about to put my 100k cup up for sale this week, loads of bits done on it, and it's destined to live the rest of its life on the track, or that's what should happen to it..

It going to be cheap as chips too.. And would love to see it become a track car. ( I already have a track car)

I will sort the advert out this week, its had a lot sorted on it, but the body work is a bit tatty (no rust, just m-way miles) in places.

There are a couple of other issues.. prob looking around 1400ish, its has had the belts done, has all the engine mounts done (in the last month), uprated top mounts (solid) with a struct brace, the correct tyres etc etc. It handles very very well.

In the last month plus i have:
both ball joints
engine mounts x2 (+ dogbone is powerflex)
gearbox oil,
new coil pack.
+ a few other things.

The only 'niggle' is that a small whine has started to come from the gearbox, but all the gears are fine with NO crunching at all, it has done over 100K now..

Anyways, I will sort out the advert soon, unless you want it you can have it tmw smile (im just outside bath).

This wants to be a track car..
