Thank you so much Andrew for your help and if you don't mind then i'd like to take you up on it. I know how dear the parts are, and like i said i'm not too fused about the pennies, it's more about the enjoyment of seeing something come to life.
Cheers
Pete
No problem Pete, bang me a mail and I'll forward my number, I'm only on the Wirral and I'm in knutsford a few times a week, so happy to meet up and talk you through the pitfalls . . . first stop would be www.Tomyang.net . . . there are at least 2 people with spare interiors Cheers

Yeah, I've been meaning to do something with it for some time, but as we've got a full order book until next year, there hasnt been much of a hurry with it
Touche. I've got a great web guy if you need any help with it. I'll email you tomorrow and drop you my details. I'll have to pop up and see your set up mate. Thanks again.Pete
Great to see a classic Ferrari being brought back to life. But can I ask one question. Why did you not buy a complete car that needed restoration rather than just a shell?
I think most people in the trade would say that’s its the tiny bits and bobs that are hardest to find and cost the most that can end up stalling a project like this.
The problem is you could end up spending way more than the car is actually worth at the end of the day. And yes I know this should not always be about money but classic Ferrari's are now seen as much as investments as they are desirable cars to own. It’s sad but true

Hi Guys
Thanks for all the good luck and nice comments.
I know a lot of people have said to me "why don't you buy a broken one and fix it up, it'll be cheaper"
I totally understand what everyone is saying on that matter but my main reply is "where's the fun?".
I know i could buy one from the states and totally revamp it up in no time at all. However i bought this project to keep me busy, i don't have any kids that need my attention. The wife has her projects that keep her busy so i wanted something to do with my idle hands.
Also i think i'm going to get a lot more satisfaction from the fact that i have absolutely no experience in fixing cars and i'm taking on a classic Ferrari.
Besides when it's finished i'll be looking at auctioning it off and the proceeds can go to Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children. Then i'd like to move on to a DB5 and auction that off.
I'll be posting some more pictures of my previous cars soon, i'm just trying to get over the fact that this morning i've just got rid of my Bentley GT Mulliner for absolutely no apparent reason
It is going to be replaced by either a Britsh V8 or a Japanese 3.8 V6 this weekend so watch this space.
Cheers
