Hi, just joint up but been reading PistonHeads and this forum for years. Never joint up before as the best car I had owned before yesterday was a 1.8 Si Ford Escort (its was partially stripped out inside with a good braking and suspension upgrades though). Anyway, I picked this up yesterday and smiled all the way home. Have been in Australia driving an automatic Commodore for the past 9 months so got to get back used to using a clutch, especially because this car has a new one and a lighten flywheel). I will get some more photos up once I have had time to give it a good clean, polish and wax. I will also get some details up soon about whats been done to it.

Looks cool on those wheels, are they Speedlines? Gives it a nice, business-like stance, and I agree they go like stink and handle nicely too! Welcome

Absolutely lovely I saw this on 306gti6.com - looks brilliant with the comps. Even makes the manstone paint look almost manly.

Always refereshing to see someone who has concentrated on the handling/brakes rather than just throwing money at the engine and then worrying about the stopping and going round corners later Nice looking Pug btw

Coopers old car? I made the droplinks and strut brace for that a few months back, that's the first prototype low-profile one - might be a collectable that

Aye, it nearly had my brake brackets on too but I'd only got one spare (bit of an oversight there, not sure what I was intending to do with one...)

Wheels and brakes really make this car. Although going to repaint the red rear callipers to something darker. Engine bay needs a hell of a clean and hopefully some paint and colour coding.
