Never thought I would ever say this... But the red leather looks really nice! smile

Great choice of mods you have made there! I will get myself one of these one day as a second car, when I can afford it :P

Cheers guys, I like subtle mods, over in your face mods.

Although the girlfriend says I'm a boy racer rolleyes

I've told myself that the next car I get I will not modifiy at all though.

Would have loved a Honda S2000 but the insurance would have been ridiculous for me.

hehe

My girlfriend hasn't seen my new motor yet... But she did say that spoilers and loud exhausts were for boy racers boxedin

I am amazed at how cheap insurance is on MX5's, but I would imagine an S2000 would be killer.

Enjoy that car, looks really nice smile

Yeah my insurance isn't cheap, and the petrol consumption is absolutely shocking for the power it has or rather doesn't have laugh

I wouldn't mind getting 20ish mpg if the car actually went somewhere, I'm always shocked when I hear people getting 40mpg they must drive ridiculously slow and change gears at 2000rpm.

Really? What sort of prices are you guys getting?

Admiral quoted me £700 a year - 19 year old male, licence for 2 years, 1 year NCD.

With modifications I'm paying near 1200.

And I crashed the car a few months ago, so not looking forward to renewal next year

Yours is the same colour as mine, Titanium Grey. Yours also looks far cleaner than mine. I need to get mine detailed.

Im not a fan of the wheels tbh, but its your car not mine!

Any mods under the bonnet??

The pictures were taken once I collected it from the bodyshop, and they had cleaned it so it was a rare occasion when my car was washed lol

No mods under the bonnet yet, my insurance company said I needed to own the car for at least one year.

I can do things like an induction kit, but it would likely make no difference apart from noise, which I'm not overly bothered about.

I do regret it, what's worse is I sold the set of wheels and tyres for just over £100 frown

It was purely to cut costs with regards to tyres.

I do find the car is a better drive on 15s though if I'm honest.

The seats will be going aswell to make way for lotus elise seats...

£100? You're mad. Let me know when you're selling the seats, they'll be a tenner right? tongue out

I just wanted rid of them, as my girlfriend was moaning about the space they were taking.

Apparently it doesn't look good having a set of wheels in the spare room of the flat lol
