Raised the rear suspension a bit as was getting bored with it scraping over large speedbumps, then took it for a drive as the weather was too good not to, couple of pics smile

would definately recommend getting one as dont think there is a car you can have as much fun in for very little money, prices are so cheap for them at the moment.

What a lovely Mk1, one of the nicest I've seen. Stunning colour too.

You've got me looking now...

By the way OP, the right-hand corner of your new splitter looks a bit out in those pics?

Thanks, it is one of the nicest colours available smile

Splitters not perfect but had to cut it down quiet alot as was made for a renault laguna. corner of the bumper curves in so tried to follow that line, slightly better picture of it here, not bad considering I only brought it for £1.20

Colour and car are stunning. Looks very well looked after

I imagine if you heat gunned the splitter and pulled it back at the same time with pliers or something you might get it to sit better in the corners. Mine did the same and I gave in and cut the outside parts off. Then bought a trap lip still to be fitted

Had a great day at the Goodwood SS service this morning, roof down with the sun out and some awesome cars.

Couple of pics I got of mine

More of my pictures can be found here http://www.flickr.com/photos/tim0854/sets/72157632...

Once got home gave the car a wash and fitted a new heatshield for the Induction kit, probably wont make much difference but thought id see, might get some ducting to increase the airflow next.

Havnt done much to the car recently but ordered some new Uniroyal Rainsport 2's from Camskill to replace the crap Pirelli P6000's I had on the car.

Hopefully make a big difference to how it handles in the wet, going to Wales end of Feb so sure i'll be able to test them out there

Look good for only £33

Picked up some 14 x 6 Black Racing Competition wheels today as a spare set for when I get the BBS's refurbed and maybe for occasional track use.

They need a good clean up and a couple new tyres but think they'll look good once fitted smile

Gave a quick clean and fitted the Black Racing wheels today then went for a drive as the suns out driving

Think they suit the car and go well with the black Rollbar, need to repaint them at some point.

Some pics smile

Thought I'd see if my newly purchased Tonneau cover would fit with my rollbar, with a bit of fiddling got it to fit ok and didn't have to cut into it smile

Lovely looking car there chap, but i have to ask... TA Technix coilovers?

Surely a cheap ticket to making the handling worse?

For the money there not as bad as people say, performed fine on my recent trip to Wales, don't think for £180 I can complain.

Probably upgrade to some Gaz golds or Meister R's sometime when funds allow smile

Fair enough. Considered the P5 stuff? I think that would be my pick personally.
