Just picked my car up from the body shop, did a great job and looks great.

They found there was rust on both pillars, I thought there was only rust on the drivers side, so all the rust was cut out and welded and a new screen fitted, good as new now

They used the same (Ford) trim????

Failed on a couple small items -

Front plate too small

Rear plate wrong size margins

Both front headlights out of line, too low


So quiet happy with that

Have changed the front plate to a standard size one I had in the garage and adjusted the lights levels. Tried to get a new plate for the rear from Halfords but they didnt have the right size so have had to order one online so just got to wait for that to arrive then I can get it retested.

Car has now sold and buyer picked up this morning.

Not sure what to replace it with yet, my dads going to sell his R53 Mini Cooper S JCW and has said I can get it cheaper so might buy that off him
