I think the badges look good! Plus aren't they pinned in?

I think the 'Roadster' text being in green (as opposed to the red like they mostly are) means that it has the later engine management / ECU. You should keep the badges on, now that you even have something boring and factual to say about them tongue out

Only a couple of small holes holding on either badge so not hard to fill in and paint.

Think I will De-badge it as I think it looks better all smoothed IMO smile

That exhaust looks fantastic. I sometimes wonder about getting a custom made exhaust for my MR2. Mind you, the standard kit is loud enough. One of the nicest MX5's I've seen though, the carbon fibre trim looks quite smart and is better than the standard spec stuff! I always thought that storage bin on the transmission tunnel was a neat idea. It doesn't feel as solid as the MR2 storage bin (and upright item between the seats) but it is much easier to use when you're sitting in the car!

Thanks thumbup

Really like how the exhaust sounds now, is quiet loud as its a straight through pipe but isnt too bad at a constant speed only loud when accelerating biggrin

Getting a De-cat made for it this week so will be even louder lol Will put up a vid of how it sounds once ive had it done smile

A Blitz Nur Spec or similar handmade equivilant is the best mod you can get for an MR2 imo!

Looks great pal! I got rid of mine a couple of years ago as it was proving impractical driving from Sunderland to Leeds twice a week in the snow! That and as a student the rust grew faster than the student loan could cope with!

Reading a thread like this makes me what to go and get another, but keep it for fun this time!

Good work!

Sounds lovely! Mind you, I always thought the standard exhaust on the MX5 sounded pretty good. It had a lovely burble to it!

Havn't really done much to the car recently, been enjoying driving it too much smile

Pic of car from the Sussex Breakfast meet last month, was good to meet some fellow Nutzers

Decided to de-badge the rear panel today

Holes filled and all primered up ready for painting

Just waiting for paint to arrive, hopefully have it sprayed and fitted next week sometime, also have front number plate relocation bracket to fit at sometime smile

Finished painting the de-badged rear panel today and put it back on, a pic of how its turned out

quiet pleased with how it looks now at the rear.

Aslo finally fitted my front number plate bracket

Has left 9 small holes where it was mounted but hoping to have the bumper de-badged and resprayed next month.

Think I need a smaller number plate tho as it looks too big and will also put an OEM Lip on once ive had it resprayed smile
